George Falconer is a British professor of literature who works in the University of California in the early 60’s. After knowing that his lover Jim died in a car accident he suffers the lost and spends some days remembering fragments of his relationship with the lost partner. Finally he decides to die but before it, some events happen with his best friend Charlie and his student Kenny that change his mind. Suddenly life grants him to get his original plan achieved.
