Seating on a beach, looking at the distance between you and the image in front of you. A clear and light space that you interpret as the sky divided from the dark blue sea through one of the basic elements of the image: a long, long line that seems to have no end. Through one side to the other there is no start nor ending. You thought it was the horizon, but is really a line, subtle and invisible, abstract and impossible to deny. Suddenly, you realise that a line can be seen in other positions, vertical, diagonal: and even in other forms. You ask yourself: ‘Can the horizon be vertical?
