D is for DOT

The smallest part of the image, it is also known as spot. The beginning of the adventure in different worlds of images. A dot is the basis for any sort of visual creation, the smallest part of a whole that has the purpose of entertain and delight the eye, by creating forms, contours, shadows, lights, figures, etc. The dot is essential.

A small roundish mark made with or as if with a pen. A minute or small spot on a surface. Anything Relatively small or specklike (1).
